Back Lake
Back Lake is a suburb of Merimbula and offers magnificent coastal views. The town is popular with tourists, featuring many specialty shops with unique crafts, souvenir, food and fashion outlets. Berrimbool
Berrimbool is only a stroll away from Merimbula’s CBD and is the host of large sporting grounds and a skate park. Surrounded by bushland with beautiful views, the area is quiet and boasts a range of free standing residences, from fibro cottages to architectural designed homes built to capture the magic views. The Bournda National Park has excellent walking, biking and jogging tracks and Wallagoot Lake and surrounding waterways are ideal for water skiing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and prawning. The beaches are pristine, uncrowded spaces and are an excellent surf break. Bournda is located a short proximity from Tura Beach, Merimbula, Tathra and Bega yet provides opportunity to combine a rural and coastal lifestyle.
Broadwater
Oysters have been farmed in Pambula Lake, in Broadwater, for over 100 years. This estuary is the perfect environment for the Sydney Rock Oyster and this has been confirmed through awards and accolades worldwide. The homes around Broadwater are on acreage or large blocks and the real estate has an old fashioned charm. The nearest town is Pambula and is only 5 minutes away. Long Point
Long Point is an area of Merimbula that has stunning views over the Merimbula Lake area and down as far as Pambula Beach. The real estate in this area is predominantly built for the views and is generally larger quality homes. Bar Beach and Spencer Park beach are popular beaches that are within close walking distance. Short Point
Short Point is prestigious area located on the noreast side of Merimbula. It is a small location that is identified by the proximity and views to the magnificent Short Point Beach. Short Point Beach is a long stretch of sand that links to the Tura Beach and is an excellent walk. The beach is popular with surfers, snorkellers, waveboarders and swimmers. Shortpoint is a five minute drive or a ten minute walk to Merimbula and is conveniently located to all of Merimbula's services, sportsgrounds and schools. South Pambula is a village about 3 kilometres south of the town of Pambula. Tura Beach is serviced by a Woolworths development that consists of a Supermarket, Petrol Station, Newsagency and other specialty shops. Tura Beach offers affordable housing suitable for families, first home owners and retirees. The area has excellent views and is closley located to the natural playground of the Bournda National Park.
