In breaking local news, the possibility of rezoning land at Tura Beach opposite the Woolworths complex was discussed at the Merimbula Chamber of Commerce at a recent meeting. Generally the membership was in favour. The rezoning to a commercial zone B5 will be raised at the next Bega Valley Shire Council meeting, opening up the possibility of a Bunnings style store on the site. Developments like this will boost the growth of Tura Beach.
